These nonprofits are already using or considering the integration of AI into their operations.Encouraged projects encompass a wide array of AI applications such as AI-enabled assistants and mentors constructed using Extensive Language Models (ELMs), AI-driven search interfaces, and chatbots using Natural Language Processing (NLP) models in languages apart from English.

Google’s inaugural cohort comprises 21 organizations focusing on critical areas like climate, economic opportunity, health, education, and crisis response. Alongside technical training, workshops, and mentorship, is injecting over $20 million in funding across these projects. In a world increasingly reliant on AI and technology, nonprofits strive for competitiveness, and Google, a prominent figure in the AI sector, steps in to offer invaluable support. Notably, has already directed resources towards AI-assisted initiatives, such as HomeTeam, a pioneering AI-assisted veterans’ mental health training program developed by Reflex AI.
